  21. No particular implication was intended. All I'm saying is that very
  22. recently John Clark conducted a proper transaction with someone other
  23. than yourself. Knowing that, I'm suggesting that there _could_ be
  24. extenuating circumstances, and that _perhaps_ you should make real sure
  25. that all other possibilites have been exhausted before announcing
  26. to the net community that someone is a virtual theif. John Clark is
  27. not yet been known to be ripping everybody off... I know this for sure.

  29. A reputation is easy to ruin here in this marketplace... it's not so easy
  30. to rebuild one. Perhaps the better way to handle this would have been to
  31. ask others if they had had any dealings with John Clark in the recent
  32. past. Then you would have seen a response from the community, and perhaps
  33. also captured John's attention to the problem as well.

  35. One thing I'd like to note here... at least you got your stuff returned
  36. to you. Perhaps John changed his mind about buying the item, but was afraid
  37. to admit it to you. I'd say he definitely ows you the shipping charges you
  38. incurred in the deal.
